More "Bee"-ology, Hive Inspections and Some Gardening!

This meeting started off a bit strange. We were in a new location! Maybe we should just have Bee Club there from now on 😉

Here, we have the life span of a Worker Honey Bee. If you need a quick review check out the two images below!

Finally we all got a chance to get into our hives as a group! I didn't get a chance to get a photo of everyone's hive inspection notes. Our bees got really upset when we used the Bee Brush or the Smoker so we decided to name the colony: Divas. Below you can see what we found and what we didn't.

Now this is something I have wanted to do since my first day in the Bee Club: garden! Dustin brought in some seeds for flowers and we did some much needed weeding as well. I am sure the flowers are gonna look great once they grow and bloom.
